Festuca glauca Elijah Blue

Height: 0,2–0,3 m

A medium-sized ornamental grass that grows to a height of about 0.4-0.6 m, with a distinctly blue color and a bushy leaf habit. It produces narrow, spike-like flower heads from June to September, which turn yellowish brown when ripe. It needs plenty of light, so avoid planting in partial shade. It likes well-structured soil. Its water needs are moderate and it needs watering after planting. It looks good planted in groups as an edging, and when combined with flowering plants its unique color stands out as a highlight in the garden.
